What people are saying about Adventure Scuba.

Greetings,
I started my basic PADI training with your school earlier this year. I did the theory and the indoor pool sessions here in NYC, and just completed my open water session a bit over a month ago while in Mexico.
There was some confusion while I was there as to my credentials, since I had forgotten to bring my PADI logbook / card with me. Tom was kind enough to dig through your records and fax my information to the school in Mexico, so I was able to get everything sorted out in time for the open water session.
I just wanted to say thank you -- the open water dive was truly a wonderful experience, more magical and captivating than I had expected. I was a bit nervous on the first day, but the lessons I learned from Adventure Scuba had prepared me very well, and by the second day I was able to relax a little and pay more attention to just enjoying the surroundings.
My initial plan was just to get the license to see what it's like, but I wasn't sure whether scuba diving was for me -- I thought I was more of a skydiving/adrenaline type of person. But floating underwater, taking in all the natural beauty so close to one's fingertips, and realizing how much I have yet to learn about navigating effortlessly -- I'm already looking forward to my next scuba trip. I feel like this will be a lifelong hobby :-)
Cheers and Happy Holidays!

I had great experiences with Adventure Scuba - I got my open water certification (classroom and contained dives) thru the team there. Super nice and knowledgeable. Made the experience great. I also bought my initial gear on-site which I took to the BVI for some amazing diving and got an amazing conch shell from the bottom.

N.K.

Fantastic dive shop to get any scuba gear you may need and to get your initial PADI scuba certification with the 2-day indoor pool training they do across the street at Asphalt Green. Tom was our scuba instructor and he did a fantastic job showing our class of 3 the necessary skills we needed to learn during the 2-day indoor training. Seth at the dive shop also did a fantastic job helping me pick the right gear I needed to begin my journey as a scuba diver especially when it came to wetsuit size selection. I was deciding between a size Medium suit versus a size Large suit and he stressed I get the Medium suit even though it was more snug and a little less comfortable than the Large suit. I’m sure glad I listened to his advice because being in the water long enough can make you cold and during the training I realized how much warmer I was in the more snug Medium wetsuit. So now that my indoor training is complete it’s now time for to go out and get my Open Water training completed. Wish me luck and once again thank you Tom and Seth of Adventure Scuba.
