EFR "practical" Session
Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a non-stressful learning environment. Enriched Air/Nitrox
By diving with enriched air/nitrox rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater safely. For example, if you dive to 50 feet on air, your no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on EAN 36% gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time – an increase of 140 minutes. In addition diving with enriched air/nitrox is said to be less fatiguing to the body, a benefit to older and younger dives alike. Adventure Scuba offers the enriched air/nitrox certification from PADI . Whether you’re into underwater photography or wreck diving, on vacation in some tropical paradise or just out for a leisurely day of diving at your local dive site, the PADI Enriched Air Diver course helps you get more out of diving by giving you more time underwater. Must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization). Learn to analyze cylinder contents. Plan enriched air dives using tables and dive computers. SCUBA - ReActivate
Scuba - Reactivate is a one-night program designed for certified divers who quite frankly haven’t been diving lately. Program consist of an in water review of all of the skills of the Open Water Course. Adventure Scuba includes the use of our Regulators, BC Jackets, Tanks, Weights and Weight belts. Student must provide their own personal gear. (Mask, Snorkel and Fins) Wet suits are not required but suggested.

Our Weekend Class is the opportunity to complete the Pool Training required for PADI certification in only 1 day and include training for ReActivate program too. Pool is offsite on Long Island and transportation is available via LIRR from Penn Station if you do not have a car. Home study and reservations are required to participate. Class begins at 11:00 am for students who must first complete the academics on line. (eLearning) Remainder of day is spent in pool learning the skills needed to be a safe and confident diver and concludes at 6:00pm Class size is very limited. Please make your reservation early.
