FAQS
General
Why learn to SCUBA dive?
The earth is over 70% water. If you want to explore it you want to learn to SCUBA dive.
Do I need to be a good swimmer in order to scuba dive?
No, but you do need to be able to swim. One of the first things we’ll ask you to do is to swim 200 yds. or snorkel 400 yds. You can choose which, and there is no time limit. We’ll also ask you to float or tread water for 10 minutes. If neither of those is a problem for you, then your swimming skills are suitable for scuba!
How do I know if SCUBA diving is for me, I have never tried it before?
If you are unsure if diving is right for you schedule a Discover Scuba session with us first. For a small fee you can try before-you-buy SCUBA lesson. Click here for more details about this program.
